Brian Monahan, B.S., CSCS, REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Brian is a co-founder of GTI and Chief Executive Officer. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, works on his master's degree in Clinical Psychology, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He served his country in the US Army Special Forces (Green Berets). His love of the outdoors, gardening, and learning was first cultivated by his grandparents, who were environmental engineers and educators, who helped to establish the best environmental practices and institutions of higher education in the Midwest. His father was an FBI agent, and his mother was an experienced social services worker. Brian's unique background drives his dedication to helping improve the quality of life in the community. |
Jenni Guentcheva, LPC, LAC, NCACII
Jenni, the co-founder and Chief Clinical Officer of GTI, brings a wealth of global experience to her role. As a licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in the US and a Psychologist in Europe, she has a deep understanding of diverse cultural contexts. Her mission is to foster growth in her clients, both individuals and organizations. She has pursued this goal by developing numerous human services collaborative programs in Colorado, California, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, UK, Spain, etc. In addition to leading the GTI programs, Jenni is also the CEO of Goodneighbor LLC, a treatment, training, and consulting agency with a global footprint. |
Ian Norris, Chef & Coach
GTI's Chef Ian is more than just a chef who warms our hearts and fills our bellies. Beyond the delicious meals, he serves as a virtual trainer, mentor, and innovative culinary program developer. His leadership in these roles helps our clients to build nutritional skills and confidence. What sets Chef Ian apart is his expertise in Culinary Rx, a certification that allows him to prescribe food to assist in treating various physical and mental disorders. He is on a mission to combine the joy of cooking with holistic well-being that can assist in the treatment of different physical and mental conditions. His newest endeavor is providing parents with nutritional programs for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Chef Ian's kitchen is both an inclusive haven for culinary exploration and growth and a scientific laboratory producing positive health outcomes. |
Brett Penvose, Horticulture Lead & Certified Peer Coach
Brett is GTI’s Head of Horticulture, Peer Coach, and Certified Addiction Technician (CAT) candidate. He teaches young and old how to deal with life's challenges by returning to our roots, nature, and all the valuable life skills accompanying any path to self-exploration. Brett's recent specialties and certifications center around earth-friendly practices such as Regenerative Farming Practices/No-Till, Permaculture, Aquaponics, Hydroponics, and soil biology. |
Mike Anderson - Certified Peer Coach
Mike is a Fremont County native who has spent his life in Southern Colorado. He has 15+ years of experience in the construction field and 10 years of experience as an agricultural laborer and supervisor. He also has lived experience of not only addiction but of overcoming addiction. He is a positive and supportive role model who can help clients through every phase of their recovery. |
